Alhambra Iberia Ziricote

The Iberia model has always been a very balanced model and on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Alhambra Guitars, a series of modifications have been made to achieve an improved and very interesting model.
 
Regarding the woods, the most important feature is the Ziricote (Cordia dodecandra) sides and back, an extraordinarily beautiful wood, with a sound that could be described as deep, a very Spanish sound, an excellent sound.
 
The effect of the Ziricote generates unique instruments, due to the contrasts that the meshes of this wood draw on the sides and back. Although each guitar is always unique, in this case it can be said that the differences are more evident between one and the other.
 
Regarding the neck, the instrument is designed using the so-called ergoneck neck, a narrow neck, in this case built with Samanguila, which provides great comfort in the interpretation.
 
The saddle and nut parts are made of melamine, a material that transmits a lot of sound and offers a round, very balanced sound.
The fretboard is made of rosewood, a very hard wood that at the same time offers very elegant brown tones.
 
The guitarist who tries this guitar, usually highlights the comfort in the interpretation. This is because together with the characteristics of the neck, this instrument is built with a professional level string action, although very tight. A very careful distance between strings and fretboard to get a very comfortable guitar, without being soft.
